The podcast is back!
When I was walking around GDC, I happened to bump into a number of interesting developers and fell into lots of interesting conversations. Using limited foresight, I was able to record a few of them for the podcast.
First up is an interview with the development team behind “Call of Booty 3.”
Featuring the voices of Noel Berry, Matt Thorson, Tom Rab, Chevy Ray Johnston, Kert Gartner and Tom Sennett.

any link to their game? all i can find is porn movies if i search for call of booty LOL.

The first google result for me was actually the call of booty 3 flash game.
I do not recommend clicking the link, however, as the developers promised a lot on the podcast, but failed to deliver.
I was promised features such as spank ripple effects and booty time. Neither of these were present in the game I played.
The game follows Jake, who’s self proclaimed goal in life is “To get laid.” I suppose there have been less inspiring plotlines driving games forward(I mean just wandering around a cave to get money. Come on, try make this compelling guys), but the whole story still feels a little stale. I personally feel the series Jersey Shore has thoroughly explored the “Douchbag tries to get laid” to the point were other efforts leave much to be desired.
Anyway after hitting the club our protagonist is meet with a choice of four women. Described as “Asain, Black, Blonde and Burnette” (In alphabetical order) we are left to assume that this is all the women have to offer us. A very shallow, pick the one that you think look the best, because thats all you need from these women. It has to be said that one wonders if the art team have ever studied anatomy, as the character sprites are oddly disproportioned. I felt the choice was lacking(No man booty? You implied a 50/50 mix from the booth babe representation) but carried on with the “Asian” option.
After selecting this option the brave hero approaches the “Asian” one and comes on to her. After their exchange I find the character buying her a drink. It would have been nice had the developers let me make more choices. I found myself second guessing my choice at this stage, however I had no option to go back and pick the “Burnette/Blonde/Black” one. Then again the characters were so poorly developed that they cannot be distinguished, save for their appearance.
I was then propositioned with the option of taking X with the woman. I felt at this stage since I could choose any of the other women, that I might as well go all in with my earlier choice. I choose to take the X, in the hope the woman would think me cool and then, maybe, I could access the booty stage of the game, wherein the game would hopefully revolutionize the physics systems of the whole “adult” game genre.
With a “For shiz’ee” and “I loveeee X” the hero drops the X. The woman then propositions a “Good time” in the back seat of her car. It is here that I presumed the eagerly awaited booty mode would begin, as I was no longer stuck in the preamble stage. I was treated to a view of the back of the “Asian” one, sans clothes, when she exclaimed “Oh you can’t get it up.” The game then reset to the starting screen, where you choose your woman. Repeating this process with some of the other women lead down different paths, all with the same end. The starting screen.
I have to say that the game fails to deliver any of the promises. At times it even felt like it was a joke, though the game delivers every line so straight faced I don’t think this is the case. I think it fair to say that you can give this one a miss and wait for the eagerly anticipated next “Medal of Boner” installment, who might yet have a trick or two in their pants.
That said it is a free flash game readily available at your leisure, although your hard drive might need to be scrubbed after being exposed to the websites its hosted on.
This game gets a 7/10 from me.

lol….i hoped that that was NOT the actual game. i mean….i like your podcasts(even if sometimes the duration is HUGE for some of them).
However most podcasts are with developers that know what they are doing. I see nothing innovative in their game. flash sex game without sex…wow…
I hope future podcasts will be with more experienced people.
p.s. 7/10 is too high even if you compare it ONLY with flash games
