Here is some new concept art by Katie De Sousa. What could it be?
P.S. There’s a new interview that covers bridging the gap between Aquaria and Marian on GameSetWatch.

Mmm, looks rather like the recipe system from Aquaria, only with… doll parts? Perhaps it is some form of armor or clothing.

FEZ FRIDAY RIPOFF
I kid, the more info/art about the game the better! I still have the GDC’09 poster in my room!

Looks neat!
I hope it’s a weird hovering clothlike enemy with floating parts

I like the idea of it being a new head for Marian or a new body part. As a marionette (spelling?) couldn’t she possibly craft new parts for herself? New, STRONGER parts, which might have special benefits? I find that to be an interesting “upgrade” system. Of course it would change looks some, too
. Parts look like a veil, parts look like wings, or like a jelly fish, so I don’t know what it is, but that was a thought, considering the other responses.

looks like a clown in the tear drop and a fancy tissue… I’m not sure but…when will Marian be out? I’m not a gamer but fell for her when I was flipping through “Girls of Gaming” and was so disappointed to read that its release has been delayed.

11: Glad you’re interested – cool to hear that people noticed Marian in “Girls of Gaming”!
We never set a release date, so technically the game hasn’t been delayed.
