My GammaIV game didn’t make it, so you might as well play it.

Here’s a visual demonstration of how we can go from a fugly sketch by yours truly to a lovely looking piece by Katie or Ashley. (in reverse!)

Can you guess which one was mine and which ones were Katies’?
My sister Eileen and I wrote a track for “Songs for the Cure” this year, and our very generous friends, James and Lisanne of BlinkWorks, were there to document the recording session…
Songs for the Cure is a caner fundraising initiative organized by Josh Whelchel. (the composer behind BoneSaw, and The Spirt Engine games) SftC is a compilation of new tracks from a wide variety of game-related composers. Last year’s CD felt like an explosion of untamed creativity.
This year’s disc is likely to be an even more varied compilation. For information about how to receive a copy of the CD, visit http://CancerDrive.org.
Big Thank You’s go out to James and Lisanne for taking time out of their busy schedule to help us promote the CD and to Neil Cameron of Private Ear for graciously donating time in his studio. (highly recommended!)
Happy Valentine’s Day.
The talented Adam Mechtley (ex-Flashbang) put together a nice little video demonstrating how he built Marian’s new hair.
Marian’s new character model is coming together in a big way – looking way better than she did in our first teaser trailer with the new modeling, textures and everything else.
As we develop gameplay, animation, sound and more, work steadily continues on Marian’s model and texturing…

Occasionally, Katie hides things in the textures.

My Gamma entry this year is called C4Ke. Here’s a sneak peak!

What is Gamma?
Gamma is a game party/show that features about 5-7 different games each year. The theme is different every time. Last year’s was games that use stereoscopic 3D, which gave birth to Paper Moon. The year before that was games that use a resolution of 256×256 or lower, which gave birth to Célu.
This year’s theme is 1-button games, but you can have up to 4 players.
Tons of people are entering this year – it’ll be interesting to see what comes out of it.
UPDATE: There are 154 entries this year!
